Advantages: both good heat and oil resistance performance, stable performance in lubricants containing sulfur, phosphorus and chlorine additives. Also poor elasticity and wear resistance, poor electrical insulation and poor processing performance.

Other properties are the same as NBR. Use temperature range: about -30~+150℃.

Disadvantage: higher price.

Use: Mainly used in oil and high temperature resistant sealing products.

2.9 Chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM), the factory code (P)

Advantages: excellent ozone resistance and aging resistance, better weather resistance than other rubbers. Fire resistance, heat resistance, solvent resistance and resistance to most chemicals and acid and alkali resistance is good. Electrical insulation is fair, wear resistance is similar to that of SBR. Operating temperature range: about -20~+120℃.

Disadvantages: poor tear resistance, processing performance is not good.

Uses: wire and cable sheathing, hose, tape, rubber roller chemical lining.

2.10 Fluorine rubber (FKM), the factory code (F)

Features: good abrasion resistance, good weather aging, light aging, ozone aging, radiation resistance, excellent resistance to gasoline, benzene, toluene, alcohol, weak acidity, the use of temperature range: about -20 ~ +200 ℃, special grade -35 ~ +250 ℃ (can work under 250 ℃ for a long time).

Disadvantage: This adhesive is expensive.

Use: Mainly produce vacuum-resistant, high-temperature resistant (such as on aircraft and rockets) chemical-resistant oil-resistant, high-temperature resistant rubber products.

2.11 silicone rubber (MVQ), the factory code (Q)

Advantages: both high temperature resistance (up to 300 ℃) and low temperature resistance (minimum -100 ℃), is currently the best cold and high temperature resistant rubber; at the same time excellent electrical insulation, high stability to thermal oxidation and ozone, chemical inertia.

Disadvantages: lower mechanical strength, poor oil, solvent and acid and alkali resistance, more difficult to vulcanize, more expensive.

Uses: It is used to make high and low temperature resistant products (hoses, seals, etc.), high temperature resistant wire and cable insulation layer. Because of its non-toxic and tasteless, it is also used in food and medical industry.

3. Compounding rubber:

Raw rubber is added with vulcanizing agent, accelerator, active agent, reinforcing agent, filling agent, softening agent, antioxidant, anti-crossing agent and other compounding agents, and the rubber is mixed evenly in the rubber making machine, and the rubber is called compounding rubber.
