Rubber Parts Knowledge

I. Rubber properties The most important feature of rubber is first of all the very small modulus of elasticity and the high elongation. Secondly, it has quite good resistance to air permeability and various chemical media and electrical insulation properties. Some special synthetic rubbers have good oil and temperature resistance and can resist the swelling of fatty oils, lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, fuel oils and solvent oils; cold resistance can be as low as -60°C to -80°C and heat resistance can be as high as +180°C to +350°C.

Rubber is also resistant to all kinds of flexing and bending deformation because of small post-loss. The third characteristic of rubber is that it can be used, blended and compounded with a variety of materials and thus modified to obtain good overall performance.
These basic properties of rubber make it an excellent material for vibration damping, sealing, flexing, wear resistance, corrosion protection, insulation and bonding in industry.
Second, the classification of rubber
1, according to the appearance of rubber, rubber can be divided into four categories: solid rubber (also known as dry rubber), emulsion rubber (referred to as latex), liquid rubber and powder rubber.
2, according to the source of raw materials and methods, rubber can be divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber two categories. Among them, the consumption of natural rubber accounted for 1/3, the consumption of synthetic rubber accounted for 2 / 3.
3, according to the performance and use of rubber, in addition to natural rubber, synthetic rubber can be divided into general synthetic rubber, semi-general synthetic rubber, special synthetic rubber and special synthetic rubber.
4, according to the physical form of rubber, rubber can be divided into hard and soft rubber, raw rubber and mixed rubber, etc.
5、According to the type of rubber and cross-linked form, in industrial use, rubber can also be classified as follows.
A class according to heat and oil resistance and other functions are divided into: ordinary rubber, heat-resistant rubber, oil-resistant rubber, as well as weather-resistant aging rubber, resistance to special chemical media rubber.
Three, rubber seals products
Rubber strips, rubber rows, rubber plates, O-rings, rectangular rings, round rubber beads, diamond-shaped rubber beads, square gaskets, oil table gaskets, double sealing rings, flanges, boxes, method flanges, gaskets, flat O, rubber buckets, renewal length boxes, etc.

Introduction to the composition and classification of rubber conveyor belts

Composition of rubber conveyor belt, conveyor belt consists of upper and lower cover rubber and belt core. Classification of rubber conveyor belt:According to the rubber surface classification:heat resistant, acid and alkali resistant, cold resistant, oil resistant, flame retardant, anti-static, etc.;According to the core classification:common fabric conveyor belt, steel cord conveyor belt. Rubber conveyor belt is generally used in chemical, coal and other industries, which belongs to heavy conveyor belt and is also a kind of consumable. Therefore, when using rubber conveyor belt, you should also pay attention to the daily maintenance, avoid hard objects to bruise, avoid sun and rain, and don't put it together with oiled items. So, what is the composition and classification of rubber conveyor belt?

Rubber Conveyor Belt

Commonly used types of patterned conveyor belts are as follows: 1. Herringbone pattern Features: There is a "herringbone" pattern on the belt surface, which is higher than the belt body, the pattern can be open or closed, and each pattern can be divided into high, medium and low. Application: It is suitable for conveying powder, granule and small pieces of materials with an inclination of ≤40 degrees, and can also convey bagged materials.
